| Disability Resources Finals Volunteers Fall 2025 | Disability Resources is a department within the division of Student Affairs that supports students with disabilities. Disability Resources administered over 4,200 final exams during finals in the fall 2025 semester. Disability Resources staff members wanted to gather feedback from staff and faculty who volunteered during finals to better understand their experience, improve communication about proctoring roles and expectations, and enhance the overall volunteer experience in future exam periods. | MSC Programs- Woodson Black Awareness Committee Annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Breakfast Spring 2026 | The MSC Programs Woodson Black Awareness Committee (WBAC) annually sponsors the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. (MLK) Breakfast. The 2026 program was held on January 22, 2026. Attendees were surveyed to help WBAC gain insight into their experiences and identify opportunities to enhance future events. | Rec Sports Intramural Participant Survey - Fall 2025 | Recreational Sports (Rec Sports) offers dozens of intramural activities each semester for a wide range of skill levels. Each year, more than 13,000 students participate in the intramural program. Staff members with Intramural Sports wanted to assess students who participated in the intramural program during the fall 2025 semester to understand their experiences and how to improve the program for the future. | Southwestern Black Student Leadership Conference (SBSLC) 2026 | On January 15-17, 2026, the Southwestern Black Student Leadership Conference (SBSLC) held its 37th annual conference at Texas A&M University. The conference theme this year was “Chapter 37: Break the Mold, Build the Vision.” A series of surveys were developed to assess the student participants’ and advisors’ overall experience at the conference, participants’ experience at the Charles E. Williams II Advanced Leadership Institute (ALI), the breakfast speaker, the closing ceremony, and the individual workshops the conference hosted. | Fish Camp Non-Participant Assessment 2025 | Fish Camp is an optional extended orientation camp that provides a transition from high school to college for approximately 6,000 incoming freshmen. Fish Camp has assessed different aspects of the program since 2000. Fish Camp wanted to assess incoming freshmen who did not attend Fish Camp to understand their first semester at Texas A&M University and learn what Fish Camp could do in their marketing and programming for more students to attend. Additionally, Fish Camp wanted to compare the experiences of students who attended Fish Camp with students who did not attend Fish Camp. | Student Life Aggies Choose Assessment | The Substance Misuse and Violence Prevention (SMVP) office within Student Life ran a fall 2025 social campaign, Aggies Choose, about social norms surrounding alcohol use and attitudes among Texas A&M University students. | Stand Out and Succeed 2025 | Stand Out and Succeed (SOS) is a professional development series hosted by the Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG). Graduate and professional students attend the series to develop the skills and knowledge they will need if their plans include going into industry, academia, or research after graduating. The Stand Out and Succeed (SOS) kick-off event took place on November 11, 2025, and served as an introduction to the SOS series, where attendees could learn more about future GPSG SOS offerings as well as upcoming events and opportunities offered to graduate and professional students across the university. GPSG wanted to assess attendee experiences and the barriers faced by those unable to attend. | SGA- 2025 Ticket Pull Feedback | The Student Government Association (SGA) wanted to gather feedback from Texas A&M University Sports Pass Holders in Fall 2025. SGA was seeking feedback to help shape the future of how students pull tickets for football games utilizing the new online football ticket pulling system that was implemented during Fall 2025. | Professional Development Funding | The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs wanted to understand how departments across the division funded and supported professional development for staff members at all levels, including departments’ processes, how funding decisions were made, how staff members’ needs were supported, and what challenges, if any, existed. Data was gathered in two ways to answer these questions: a short survey and focus groups. | Fish Camp Participant Survey - Fall 2025 | According to its website (http://fishcamp.tamu.edu/mission/), Fish Camp strives to “welcome freshmen into the Aggie Family by sharing the traditions and values of Texas A&M University and building long-term relationships that embody the Aggie spirit.” Fish Camp is a three-day camp at Lakeview Methodist Conference Center in Palestine, TX. Seven sessions were held from July 21st through August 10th, 2025. Fish Camp leaders and advisors wanted to understand the participants’ camp experiences and how Fish Camp affected the start of the fall semester for those who attended. | Level-Up 2 Lead 2025 Summary Report | Multicultural Services hosted the second Level-Up 2 Lead Summit (L2L Summit) on October 18, 2025. The summit was open to students from Texas A&M University. | OVPSA Supervisor Training Fall 25 | The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs (OVPSA) partnered with Human Resources & Organizational Effectiveness (HROE) to facilitate a one-day supervisor training, held on October 15, 2025, for staff members within the Division of Student Affairs who supervise staff and were nominated by their departments to attend. The training included topics such as communication, conflict resolution, Texas A&M University’s Human Resources policies, and leadership development.
