| Level-Up 2 Lead 2025 Summary Report | Multicultural Services hosted the second Level-Up 2 Lead Summit (L2L Summit) on October 18, 2025. The summit was open to students from Texas A&M University. The students who attended the summit were given a post-survey to better understand how they perceived their leadership skills and to obtain feedback about their summit experiences. | Party Smart Watch Party | The Department of Student Life provides programs for students to learn how to make responsible life choices. | OVPSA Supervisor Training Fall 25 | The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs (OVPSA) partnered with Human Resources & Organizational Effectiveness (HROE) to facilitate a one-day supervisor training, held on October 15, 2025, for staff members within the Division of Student Affairs who supervise staff and were nominated by their departments to attend. The training included topics such as communication, conflict resolution, Texas A&M University’s Human Resources policies, and leadership development. | T-Camp 2025 Summary Report | The purpose of this assessment was to understand the experiences of students who participated in T-Camp, sponsored by Aggie Transition Camps (ATC). T-Camp is an optional extended orientation camp for students transferring to Texas A&M University and first-time in college students starting in the fall semester. There were two sessions held in August 2025, one at Lakeview in Palestine, TX (three-day session) and one at Texas A&M (two-day session). A few weeks into the semester, one survey evaluation was sent to co-chairs, counselors, and teamers, and another survey was sent to participants (campers) to assess their camp experiences and whether the participant (camper) learning outcomes were met. | Individual Development Plan Career Exploration Series - Summer 2025 | The Individual Development Plan (IDP) Career Exploration series is an eight (8)-week flipped classroom career exploration program for masters’ and doctoral students aiming to provide career clarity and a structured framework toward successfully launching into a career at the conclusion of participants’ academic programs. Participants engage with program material through a series of videos that introduce applied and theoretical concepts, supplemental materials such as handouts, and then complete learning activities informed by the IDP series’ learning objectives to reinforce each session’s concepts. The Career Center reached out to Student Affairs Planning, Assessment & Research (SAPAR) to assist in assessing IDP series participants’ experiences through pre-series and post-series assessments. | Grad Camp Survey 2025 Summary Report | Graduate and Professional Student Government (GPSG) sponsored a virtual and in-person session of Grad Camp held on August 15th (virtual), and August 16th (in-person). GPSG has worked with Student Affairs Planning, Assessment & Research (SAPAR) since 2009 to assess the experiences of counselors and the campers who attend Grad Camp. | Campus Traditions - Fall 2025 | The Student Government Association (SGA) wanted to gather feedback from Texas A&M University students on the College Station campus to understand views on campus traditions. SGA was seeking feedback to advocate on behalf of students in working with the campus administration to improve or possibly make changes to the campus traditions. | Howdy Week Assessment 2025 | Howdy Week is a campus-wide collaboration to serve as Aggieland’s official welcome for all new and returning students. | OCSS Off Campus Carnival Fall 2025 | The Off Campus Student Services (OCSS) unit in Student Life hosted the Off Campus Student Carnival to connect students with community vendors and services. | Club Crawl Fall 2025 | Formerly known as MSC Open House, Club Crawl was transformed into a more interactive and user-friendly recruitment experience. Club Crawl took place on August 31, 2025. Student attendees and student organizations were asked to evaluate their experiences and satisfaction with the revised event. | MSC Fall Leadership Conference 2025 | The 73rd annual Fall Leadership Conference (FLC) was held August 19 – 21, 2025 highlighting the theme: “Redefining Leadership, creating leaders from followers.” Student delegates were surveyed to gain insights into their engagement and learning outcomes during the conference. This assessment encompassed keynote presentations, active participation in structured group discussions, and exposure to networking activities with fellow student leaders, former students, faculty, and staff. | MSC WBAC Week 2025 | Memorial Student Center Carter G. SGA was seeking feedback to help advocate on behalf of students with the Cities of College Station and Bryan, particularly in light of recent legislative changes. | DSA Student Employee Learning & Career-Readiness | The Committee on Student Learning in the Co-Curricular (CSL) is a Division of Student Affairs (DSA) committee at Texas A&M University. The CSL wanted to better understand the learning occurring through on-campus student employment within the DSA. In collaboration with Student Affairs Planning, Assessment & Research (SAPAR), the CSL sponsored a series of focus groups with student employees from across the Division of Student Affairs to understand their thoughts and feelings about how their roles as DSA employees relate to their academic pursuits, future careers, future lives, and their impact on the larger campus community. In addition, SAPAR developed a survey distributed to DSA student employees incorporating the National Association of Colleges & Employers (NACE®) Competency Assessment Tool – Student Version, for the students to self-report the career-readiness competencies they practiced during their work on campus. | Green Dot Overview and Training Assessment 2024-2025 | Through Student Life within the Division of Student Affairs, Green Dot provides two ways to educate interested people about bystander intervention strategies and violence prevention. Students, faculty, staff, and interested community members can either participate in an overview, which serves as an introduction to Green Dot concepts, or participate in the more in-depth intervention training. Participants of both groups were given a survey to assess the program and how it affected their understanding of related concepts.
